I was so looking forward to today--who doesn't look forward to General Conference? One of the things I love about it is being stuck at home for the entire Saturday. As always, I decided to make a brief to-do list of things that could be done while I listened or in between sessions. Throughout the week when Bart would see if I wanted to work on a particular chore around the house, I would answer, "Nah, I'm going to do that during Conference." Needless to say, that list got pretty long:
go to the dollar store
hem curtains for closet
watch neighborhood t-ball game
clean living room
clean bathroom
make homemade chili
clean kitchen
clean bedroom
catch up on my correspondence
fill prescription
fix pillows
hem other curtains
cut Bart's hair
laundry
change sheets
fix photo albums
make monkey bread
make monkey bread for our VT/HT
make something to take to the branch potluck
fix blinds
post on blog
Including the last one, I have actually done 15 of these. Pretty incredible. And Bart kept making fun of my seemingly impossible list. Little did he know that I was going to make him help!

Can I get the recipe for that chili? It is AMAZING!
Glad you enjoyed your chili. Wish we could have shared our crock pot hot bean dip and all of the rest of the goodies we scarfed down during conference. Ye be super great bloggers!
I'm amazed... 15 things. Seriously. My "got done during conference" list consists of maybe: shower (surprisingly big accomplishment, and done before so possibly a cheat), feed baby, change baby, play with baby, feed baby... you get the idea. Really- good work, you multitasker!
Can I get a hair cut too?
Shawn-
1) Thanks for commenting! Good to know you've seen our blog.
2) Yes, you can - just go ask your wife (or one of your children).
3) If you want a haircut from Katie, we can probably work something out. When will you be in town?
Hey Hey!
Nice blog guys. Derek and Becca showed it to me just yesterday. Anyway gtg wish me luck on my physiology test.
I vote for future blog posts with details on monkey bread. And no excuses that it is a *fun* name for banana bread. Truth in blogging. Monkeys darn well better be involved!
