After repeatedly expressing my fear of being pooped on by birds and Bart repeatedly making fun of me for this very real and very serious fear, I finally feel vindicated....

While walking to our car today, completely engaged in stimulating conversation about world peace, Bart stopped mid-sentence and peered into the sky. I, too, turned and looked up expecting to see some type of miracle from heaven. No. It was no miracle sitting atop the electrical wire. In fact, it was quite the opposite. It was a devilish bottom-of-the-barrel bird. When I looked closely, I saw it laughing at Bart. "Why?" you might ask. Well, that very bird had decided to have its morning bowel movement on top of my husband. Lucky bird. It was a two-parter. Not only did he get bright red disgusting fecal matter on Bart's pristinely white shirt, he also targeted the top of his head in such a way that it could drip down the back.

Moral of the story: Karma is real. You make fun of one of my fears and you're going to get pooped on by a bird.
