An update on Bart and his awesomeness:
Bart has been working hard at his new job and really enjoying it. In addition to learning the ropes at a new place and working in TWO labs, he has also been wrapping up some work he did at Penn during graduate school. Ironically, he found out that his second paper had been accepted for publication on the day that I went into labor with Miles. He found out after Miles was born and said it was really funny because usually that would have made him smile for days, but Miles was SO much better and cooler than getting a paper published. Take that SCIENCE--my baby is cooler than you! Anyway, Bart has one more paper from his Penn days awaiting approval and then he will be able to focus completely on his new work at Emory.
