Pennsylvania is one of the last states -- and the last large swing state -- to hold it's presidential primary elections (Apr 22 this year). Normally that means that the decision has already been made, so PA voters have little influence on who the presidential nominee is. This year the Republican race is already decided (pretty much), but the democrats are running neck and neck -- so PA may very well decide who wins the nomination. You can't vote in primary in PA unless you are a registered voter in that party. So, as this blog title hints, Katie and I changed our registration to the Democratic party so that we can cast the deciding votes. Go Hillary Obama. (We have firm plans to change our registration back to independent on April 23, however.)

The bit about the bathroom? It ACTUALLY HAPPENED.

Have you been to Chuck-e-cheese lately? You should go. It's awesome! We went on Friday night for our date. As you can see, we had a great time hanging out with Mr E. Cheese himself. The pizza is low-fat and delicious, the games are clean, and no one pooped on the floor of the ladies room while Katie was in there. Do you remember that they have live (live = giant puppets) show? Well they do!

Yesterday we went to see a mandala made by a Tibetan monk. You know, a mandala -- a "painting" made from colored sand, which they spend two weeks building and then destroy, to illustrate and then demonstrate the circle of life. We actually got to put a few of the colored grains of sand in the painting while the monks looked on in awe. heehee. Not really. But it was pretty sweet. The display was in an Episcopal Cathedral right next door to my beloved place of employment. I took these pictures with my camera when the monks weren't looking (just kidding again--man, you're gullible).
