We had an awesome day today. It's amazing all of the things you can accomplish when you get up before 7 (thank you, Miles)!
We got to go to our neighborhood pool "everyone is welcome even though you don't pay the membership fees" free day and Miles LOVED it. He is such an amazing swimmer (he must get that from his dad because I was terrified of the water until I was like 13 or something). We had a blast splashing around and Miles even kicked his legs as if he was swimming (see picture below).
We also went to an estate sale and got this adorable child's rocking chair. All of the ladies running the sale had to take his picture sitting in the chair and then they helped us tie all of our loot to our car and we drove home the happy owners of some new treasures.
P.S. I know the chair needs to be refinished, so if anyone has any tips, let us know.

Yay for Miles. I think that is awesome he loves to swim. And I love the pic of him sitting in the chair. Dang, you guys made such a cute kid! Is he really that happy all the time, because he sure seems to be the most pleasant kid. I just put Claire to bed. She spent the last hour weeping over an owie on her knee.
What do you want to do to the chair Katie? Paint it, or stain it?

Baby swimsuits get me every time. I love to look at them at the stores. Even better to see Miles enjoying the sun and swimming in his! He's a natural in the water too. Both my kids held on so tight whenever we took them in the water at that age and you couldn't peel them off if you tried. That's great that Miles loves to swim!
Mindy, I'm not sure about the chair. I think it would be fun to have it stained because it would be more classic, but I think it would be a lot more work because I would have to sand it better. Thoughts?
