Miles was helping Bart and I put up our newly made headboard. He loved the level--I think because it wasn't too heavy and fit perfectly in his little fingers. Below is a picture of the headboard. We still don't have matching bedding, but we are working on that. When my mom was here in October, we made this headboard--I know, pretty awesome, huh?! It only took Bart and I a month to get it hung on the wall. It sure is cool to have a headboard that is the right size for the mattress--and it's padded no less! We love how the whole project turned out. I'll take better pictures once we get the room completed. For now, just enjoy the adorable reindeer and awesome headboard--both of which we made. hahaha!

A few weeks ago, we were able to get family photos taken by a girl in our ward. She did a fabulous job and of course, we think Miles is adorable in EVERY picture. Below are a few of my favorites--it was hard to pick cause I liked so many of them. (If Bart wants to put his favorites up, he can!)

Miles is getting over his first cold. We took a few pictures on the first day he was sick. Unfortunately he also got his four month shots that same day. He felt pretty rotten that night and it was apparent by the contnuous moaning/whimpering that we heard coming from the poor baby!

His stats from his four month appt were:

This was how happy Miles was before he got his concoction of rice cereal and formula. Miles really liked the high chair and the spoon best, but he was a trooper and didn't fuss at all even though he clearly wasn't too excited about the actual eating. Below is the video and some after shots. Bart and I tasted the stuff so we would know what he was eating. IT WAS DISGUSTING. I seriously almost vomited. Luckily I'm going to follow it with some ice cream. Unfortunately, Miles isn't so lucky.
