Miles's eight month of life has been all about moving. He likes to go up the stairs, rough and tumble with Dad, swing outside, and climb over people and pillows and toys. It is so much fun to see him learn about the world around him.
He is expanding his palate as well. Some of his new favorites include refried beans (how could he not love these?) sour cream, and sloppy joes. Ha! He's also enjoyed salsa (medium hotness) Brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes, and chicken tetrazini. He pretty much loves anything that we are eating, but he doesn't quite connect that he can put the food in his own mouth. We really like that he enjoys trying new things--he's come a long way from rice cereal!
Miles LOVES going to the store and riding in the shopping buggy (in the South they are not called carts). He likes the fabric store (I'm sewing a quilt with some girls in Relief Society) and Target (who doesn't like Target?) and Home Depot (more later about our home redecorating). It's really fun when we have outings since he likes it so much.
