This morning when I woke up, I naively thought that perhaps the climbing the stairs last night was a one time thing. ha! When I tried to take the first video, Miles got so distracted by the camera that he forgot about the stairs, so I had to put the bowl up there as incentive.

I have no idea where Miles gets his athleticism or his muscles. Today he learned how to do this all by himself. Conveniently, we just bought a baby gate to prevent him from toppling down the stairs. Guess I didn't think that he would soon be able to climb them.

Below are some photos of me when I learned how to climb the stairs. Looks like the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Although in this case, it seems to have fallen about 4 months sooner.

Here is the other video I was trying to load earlier. It shows off some of his new skills like climbing up to standing, exploring the stairs, and "talking."

Make sure to see the post below with the other fantastic new video -- swinging!

Here's a video of the new swing we bought Miles for Christmas. We finally found time to put it up because the weather has been in the sixties this whole year, and then what happened the next day? It snowed. Seriously. Just some flurries but it hasn't gotten out of the thirties, so we will have to wait until Wednesday when it will hopefully be warm enough to swing again.

Just another video to add to the collection. Now I see why all of us grandkids loved "killing" Poppee's bug. Apparently, it's even fun for little babies like Miles. How could he not like this game? It was invented by his namesake.
